Putting One Foot Forward...

I decided to begin this blog after creating one for my mom. I FINALLY broke down and got her a blog to keep all her cupcake reviews in one easy place, rather than just posting pictures and tiny comments on Facebook.

Just a quick update on my life:

1.  I will be moving back to Birmingham, AL again this year to dance with the ballet. 
2. I have put in an application and interviewed for a possible new job (and full career change) that I can not yet reveal. (It will be revealed if I make it to training for this!)
3. I am going on a week long vacation (that is much needed!) to Bham and then to Tallahassee with my newest BFF Cortney. You are correct, her name does not have a "U" in it, so chill!
4. I THINK I am going to be a server part-time at a family/sports restaurant in Bham. I say "think" because I haven't really been hearing much from them, after my initial emails and phone calls.

 I leave tomorrow morning to pick up Cortney in Douglasville, GA, then we are heading to Birmingham, AL so I can move some stuff back into my apartment there. Not sure if we are going to be leaving that night for Tallahassee, FL or if we are going to leave on Tuesday. We will have to see how I feel about driving all that. 

I also have to remember to pick up a special something for Alynn at Trader Joe's tomorrow before I leave!

Today I am spending the day with my parents. We are going to see a movie and then eat an early dinner at Yeah! Burger. I have to pick up my tips, have my margarita (finally!), and say goodbye to everyone! I am going to miss them a lot :( . After working there, almost 40 hours a week, I have really gotten to become good friends with everyone (minus some of the kitchen/BOH staff that I never really got to know!).

Okay, here goes the first blog post. We will see if I can actually keep all of this up!
